Definition:
A Text Assistant Link is a link to a specific element in the Assistant (article) that can be shared via the Messenger. It helps code users quickly locate the information they need within the Assistant module.
Purpose:
Facilitates seamless communication between employees and code users by providing direct links to relevant content in the Assistant, ensuring quick and accurate access to information.
Key Characteristics:
Availability:
- Only accessible within the Messenger, which is located in the Ticket Details View.
- Requires the associated template for the device linked to the ticket to have the Assistant and Text modules active and populated with content.
- Only employees can send Text Assistant Links.
Key Benefits:
- Quick Access: Helps code users quickly find the exact information they need, improving efficiency.
- Simplified Communication: Reduces back-and-forth interactions by directing users to precise resources.
- Support for Employees: Instead of explaining a topic in detail through the Messenger, employees can send a link to an existing section in the Assistant that already provides the required explanation.
